About Us

Ladybug Picnic Preschool is located in Northeast Edmonton. We  provide a Learning Through Play environment for 3 and 4 year old students. Our small class size  (maximum 10 students with one teacher and one teaching assistant, 5:1 ratio) ensures that each student receives individual interactions with their teachers.

Classes run  on Wednesdays/Fridays from 9:00 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. and Tuesday/Thursdays from 9-11:30 a.m.

There are NO parent duty days and NO fundraising requirements. A nutritious snack is provided each class by the preschool.

All children deserve to learn in a safe and nurturing environment. At Ladybug Picnic Preschool we celebrate our students’ individuality and allow them to develop skills at their own pace, through their individual learning styles.

The teacher/child relationship is as much about caring for the child as it is about teaching concepts. We support our preschool students in their social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional development.

Literacy, numeracy and scientific exploration are woven into the students’ daily play centers, circle times and teacher/student interactions.
